  • ReelHeART 2008 Orientation runs from 09:30-11:00AM on Monday June 16, 2008, hosted by the ReelHeART Director, Shannonn Kelly

Orientation Location: at 9:30AM - SHARP
Innis College, LOBBY, 2 Sussex Avenue, 1 Block South of St. George Subway

  • The Tour of Toronto starts at 2PM

Pick Up Location: Be in the Pick Up Location at 1:30PM - SHARP

Filmmakers will get a chance to talk with the projectionist and/or our tech guy to acquaint themselves with their screening space on Monday June 16 during a specified time frame-TBD

Everyday during ReelHeART a brief daily update is held prior to each Lunch N Learn. At some point during each day visiting filmmakers will also get a chance to talk with the projectionist and/or our tech guy to acquaint themselves with their screening space.

    1. ReelHeART Director Welcomes New Filmmakers, Guests, Participants and Briefs on Day Activities
  2. 11:00-13:30 Lunch n Learn, Theater 222, Innis College, 2nd Floor
    1. Lunches sponsored by Subway Sandwiches
    2. Desserts, extras provided by surrounding Vendors
    3. Industry Panels & Live Script Reads Take Place during L n L
    4. No Cover Charge to Visiting Filmmaker, OR Producer, Actor, Must Be The Official Rep Of Film
  3. 17:00-18:30 Filmmakers Dinner, Various Locations
    1. Innis College, LOBBY, Pickup is 4:30 SHARP
    1. A Different Cuisine Every Night
      1. No Cover Charge to Visiting Filmmaker, OR Producer, Actor, Must Be The Official Rep Of Film (No more than 2 Reps per film please)
  4. 21:30-Late Night Network
    1. A Different Music Scene Every Night

    3. Snacks & Complimentary Beverages Provided by ReelHeART
  5. Driving
    1. ReelHeART has their own Drive Team that does airport, hotel, dinner, venue and late night runs
    2. ReelHeART will provide contact numbers for drivers to filmmakers, but dinners and late nights are done in groups with 2-3 vehicles operating in tandem to stay on schedule
  6. Parties

    1. As with every season we hold our ‘Virtual Award Ceremony“, to let our far away filmmakers feel like their right there with us-
    2. With runaway hits however, we do present some awards during the Closing Party
    3. We suggest not booking an early flight on Sunday because the party goes til 3 or 4:00AM

    Filmmaker Introductions and Q & A’s are available in every screening bloc. Depending on time, some Q & A’s will be held in the theaters, other times in the conversation pits immediately outside the theaters. All Introductions and Q & A’s are photographed-
