Half a Person
Director Adam Santangelo, Canada
Two twentysomething best friends take a road trip from Sudbury to Toronto. Alex is heterosexual, introverted, and desperately single; Mark, rough hewn and charismatic, is in a committed gay relationship. Amidst traveling mishaps through Northern Ontario, adventures in the city with a pair of girls, and a journey into Alex’s past, the friendship is ultimately tested by the boys’ belated coming-of-age and their unspoken feelings towards each other.

Dialogue
Director Mike Garibaldi Frick, USA
While exploring freedom of expression, the creative process and the healing potential of inherent wisdom, the Dialogue community installation and its crew travel across the United States; visiting popular public areas in over 9 diverse cities, including: San Diego, San Francisco, Warren, District of Columbia, Denver, Santa Fe and New York. Unfolding like a narrative drama, Dialogue demonstrates how profoundly the unexpected can inspire, why our public spaces are being circumscribed and, in moving interview footage, how the wisdom of the ages revitalizes lives — all against the backdrop of America’s ever-changing landscape. The Dialogue installation consists of nine, 7 X 8 foot free standing screens with over 2,000 inspiring quotations arranged under eighteen general topics such as love, success, politics, community, power, strength and character.
