Hello!   January 15, 2009 was our final day for entries for our 2009 season.

We received some terrific entries in the ReelHeART Screenplay Competition and all other categories including in our newest category of competition:
Thesis Film .

We’d hope to see some really old thesis films come our way from students in the 50s-70s. We got a couple from the 80s which was nice to see.

I truly hope that next year we see what thesis films looked like when mom or dad, grandma or grandpa were film students…

One mission item of ReelHeART is to make a level playing field for all entrants whether 1st time filmmaker or industry pro. Don’t worry, no matter who you are, we read every sentence of your screenplay and we watch every minute of your film. And we do it more than once!

We make sure you get seen and heard at ReelHeART.

I’d like to THANK the good people that have travelled from far and wide to ReelHeART and have spread the word on chat boards and in their own personal blogs or while at other fests. Your’re film made us proud when it screened here and your kindness and consideration to us long after ReelHeART is simply…quite touching.
