It saddens me to report the passing of Guitar legend Les Paul, who died of at the age of 94 of complications from Pneumonia.

Les Paul
Lester William Polfuss, was born June 9, 1915 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Since his teens, he worked as a professional musician. Around the world he’s known as a preeminent American jazz guitarist and inventor. He pioneered the development of the solid-body electric guitar which most feel “made the sound of rock and roll possible.”
His many recording innovations include overdubbing, delay effects such as “sound on sound” and tape delay, phasing effects, and multitrack recording.
