I’m sorry to report that one of my favorite character actors, Robert Prosky died December 8 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC. Prosky died from complications from a heart procedure. He was three days shy of his 78th birthday.

Hawaii Five-O, Emmy-nominated producer, William Finnegan died of Parkinson’s Disease at his home in Sag Harbor, NY on November 28, 2008.
Finnegan was nominated for an Emmy five times.

I’m sad to report that Oscar nominated Marx Brothers’ writer and respected director, Irving Brecher is dead at 94.
Brecher died of age-related causes at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on November 17, 2008.
